ResumoA Walk in the Dairy Industry" Game for Environmental Education in the Food Technology Course.Environmental Education has been one of the most discussed topics worldwide, and there are records on this issue since the 1960's.Based on this assumption, the teaching of Chemistry has much to offer, since this science helps us to understand and modify the environment around us.We created a computer game called "A Walk in the Dairy Industry" using the free software RPG Maker, aiming to address environmental issues related to Chemistry and with specific subjects of Food technology.The game was developed in a class of the Food Integrated Technical Course of the IFRN -Campus Currais Novos, followed by an evaluation of the involved students.The software RPG Maker is still little used for didactic purposes, but demonstrated to be feasible for an interdisciplinary approach of the proposed topics.We observed that the produced game may be used in different contexts, depending on the teaching strategy of the teacher.
