O artigo se propoe a discutir e refletir sobre as representacoes das novas configuracoes familiares na telenovela. Como objeto de estudo foi escolhida a telenovela Amor a Vida (2013) da Rede Globo de Televisao. Como procedimento metodologico foi utilizada a Analise de Conteudo proposta por Bardin (2011), a fim de analisar tres sequencias com a presenca do personagem Felix. Foi percebido que a sua orientacao sexual influenciou a formacao de uma nova configuracao familiar. Nesse sentido, a telenovela contribuiu para discutir as diferentes formas das relacoes familiares, referenciando as mudancas dos padroes sociais e familiares da sociedade contemporânea. Telenovela. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE TELENOVELA AND THE REPRESENTATIONS OF THE NEW FAMILY SETTINGS: AN ANALYSIS OF FELIX'S CHARACTER IN AMOR A VIDA (2013) This article aims to discuss and reflect on the representations of new family configurations in the brazilian telenovela. As the object of study the telenovela “Amor a Vida” (2013) of Globo TV was chosen. As a methodological procedure was used content analysis proposed by Bardin (2011), to analyze three sequences with the character Felix, as his sexual orientation is perceived as an influencer on the formation of a new family configuration. In this sense, the telenovela contributed to discuss the different forms of family relationships, reflecting the changes in social patterns and family in contemporary society. Keywords: Identity.
