Senonian in the area of Miechow Praca przedstawia charakterystyke senonu okolicy Miechowa w profilu obejmującym santon, kampan i dolny mastrycht. W jego obrebie wyrozniono trzy cykle sedymentacyjne, rozpoczynające sie zjawiskami rozmywania i sedymentacją osadow piaszczysto-glaukonitowych. Wiek wydzielonych kompleksow określono na podstawie fauny. Scharakteryzowano sklad mineralny i chemiczny, a takze wlasności fizyczne skal senonu. Omowiono rowniez przebieg sedymentacji oraz procesy diagenetyczne, jakim ulegaly opisane skaly. The Senonian of the area situated north of Krakow is described,, in a profile comprising the Santonian, Campanian and Lower Maestrichtian. Three sedimentary cycles beginning with outwashes and deposition of sandy-glauoonitic rocks are distinguished. The age of the cycles is determined on account of palaeontological evidence. The mineral and chemical composition is described, and the physical properties of the Senonian rocks are given. Sedimentation, diagenesis and weathering, of the Senonian rocks are discussed.
