espanolLa reaccion del complejo [Re2(CO)8(CH3CN)2] con el ligando 2,5,6-tris(2-piridil)-1,2,4-triazina 2TPT en THF conduce a dos nuevos compuestos [Re2(CO)8(C18H12N6)] 1 y [{Re(CO)4}{Re(CO)3OH}{Re(CO)3}(C18H11ON6)] 2. En el complejo 1, 2TPT esta coordinado en un arreglo quelato mediante el fragmento 2-piridil-1,2,4-triazina. El complejo 2 presenta tres atomos de renio enlazados al nuevo ligando 5,6-tris(2-piridil)-5-hidro-1,2,4-triazina mediante los anillos de piridina. Adicionalmente, el ligando se coordina via activacion C-H de un anillo de piridina. 2 es considerado un zwitterion, con una carga negativa en el anillo de triazina y una carga positiva sobre un atomo de renio. Ambos compuestos presentaron bajos rendimientos cuanticos de fluorescencia. EnglishThe reaction of the complex [Re2(CO)8(CH3CN)2] with the ligand 2,5,6-tris(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazine 2TPT in THF affords two new compounds [Re2(CO)8(C16H12N6)] 1 and [{Re(CO)4}{Re(CO)3OH}{Re(CO)3}(C16H11ON6)] 2. In the complex 1, 2TPT is coordinated in chelate fashion through 2-pyridyl-1,2,4-triazine fragment. The complex 2 shows three rhenium atoms bonded to the new ligand 2,5,6-tris(2-pyridyl)-5-hydro-1,2,4-triazine through the pyridyl rings. In addition, the ligand is also coordinated via a C-H activation of the pyridine ring. The complex 2 is a zwitterion, with a negative charge on the triazine ring and a positive charge on a rhenium atom. Both compounds shows low quantum yield of fluorescence.
