ResumoThe knowledge of the ecological characteristics of forest species has helped to identify the patterns of plant formations and their management for use.This study aimed to know the diametric structure and the spatial arrangement of the Manilkara elata species submitted to a sustainable management plan in the Tapajós National Forest located in Belterra-Pará.A total of 79 permanent plots with dimensions of 50 m x 50 m (0.25 ha) were used, resulting in a total of 19.75 ha sampled.All individuals of the species with DBH ≥ 10 cm were inventoried, being the first measurement performed before the harvest and the second measurement performed one year after
