Greenhouse Technology and Climate Control

Resumo

For the use in German greenhouses a microcomputer system has been developed for greenhouse climate control. The system consists of a commercial microcomputer from SWTPC, using the Motorola 6809 microprocessor, and a few interfaces. The multiplexers are installed decentral in the areenhouses. Thev are connected via an analog and a digital bus system to the central microcomputer. The programs are written mainly in Extended Basic. The block structure of the programs allows easy changes and extensions. In a first step Drograms have been written for improving the greenhouse climate control by using self tuning control algorithms and a simplified model of the greenhouse in order to get a dynamic model of the influence of outside weather conditiones on the inside climate. The comparison of calculated and measured values allows a continous adaption of the parameters of the model.
