ResumoEste trabalho propoe a analise dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais/Educacao Fisica/Ensino Medio. Tal documento foi elaborado pelo Ministerio da Educacao e do Desporto e faz parte do processo de reorganizacao do Ensino Medio. A partir de algumas ideias que fundamentam a analise de conteudo, foi possivel identificar seis temas tratados no documento em questao: esporte, saude, corpo, pratica pedagogica, papel profissional e finalidades da disciplina Educacao Fisica no Ensino Medio. Ao termino da analise, podese notar que essestemas, alem de superficiais, sao confusos e contraditorios. Nao ha distincao entre as diferentes teorias presentes no debate academico da Educacao Fisica, ocasionando uma infeliz tentativa de reunir as diferentes concepcoes a respeito da area. Tais concepcoes implicam profundas diferencas na pratica pedagogica, o que leva a pensar na necessidade de revisao documental. Abstract: This study, proposes an analysis of the National Curricular Parameters/ PhysicalEducation/High School. The document mentioned above was created by the Ministry of Education and Sports and is part of the High School re-organization processo Based on ideas that are the foundation for the content analyses, it was possible to identify six themes dealt with in the document: sports, health, body, pedagogical practice, professional role and aims of the subject Physical Education in High School. By the end of the analyses, it was possible to notice that these themes, besides being superficial, were aIso confUsing and contradictory. There was no distinction betWeen the different theories presented during the academic debate of Physical Education, causing an unsuccessful attempt to gather different concepts concerning the area.
