ResumoLeucism is the condition in which an individual loses either a particular pigment or all of its pigments. During a study conducted in a semideciduous forest fragment at Herval D’Oeste municipality (southern Brazil), we captured an individual of Sturnira lilium with disproportionate pigmentation. The overall color of the specimen was yellowish with black spots on the wing membranes, black eyes and pink skin. This is the first case of leucism formally reported to the species in Santa Catarina state and the second such report to Brazil.
