ResumoSusceptibility ofAnticarsia gemmatalis Hübner and Oirysodeixis includens (Waiker) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) to Bacilius thuringiensis (Berliner)The susceptibility ofAnticarsiagemmatalis Hübner and Chrysodeixis includens (Waiker) to Bacilius thuringiensis vai.Kurstaki Berliner was evaluated in the laboratory with the isolates HD-1 and BC-1.Preparations were tested at doses ranging from 0.016 to 0.090 mgl ml of insect diet.Daily mortality evaluations wre.conducted and results assessed througli probit analysis. The median lethal concentrations (LC50) were 0.016 mglml for }{D-1 and 0.015 mg/ml ofdiet for BC-1 for A. gemmatalis. The LC50 for C. includens were 0.083 and 0.063 mg/ml ofdiet for the two isolates. The median lethal times (LT50), for the higjiest dose, were 2,4 and 3,7 days for A. gemmatalis, and 8,8 and 3,2 days for C. includens, respectively for HD-1 and BC-1.Significant differences in the development of Iarvae surviving infection at the 101 day post infection were also observed.
