Resumo

The preparation of a new neutral ruthenium(II) pincer complexes with formula [RuCl(CO)2(CTRZNCTRZ)] (CNC = bis(1,2,3-triazol-5-ylidene)carbazolide) is described. Access to the hydrido complex [RuH(CO)2(CTRZNCTRZ)] was attained by reaction of the pincer ligand precursor with base and with [RuCl(H)(AsPh3)3(CO)] in the presence of CO atmosphere. The meridional geometry pincer ligand in the complexes is confirmed by a single crystal X-ray diffraction study of [RuCl(CO)2(CTRZNCTRZ)]. Preliminary results of the use of [RuCl(CO)2(CTRZNCTRZ)] as catalyst in the transfer hydrogenation reaction of ketones, are reported.
