ResumoThe results of an 11-year study of the ichthyofauna in the Moksha River (central part of European Russia) are described here. Thirty-seven species were recorded, including 34 present in rivers and 26 in lake systems. Relative abundance and the occurrence of fish species from different types of water bodies are provided and the diversity of the ichthyofauna for this region is discussed.
