ResumoThe field experiments of higher potassium fertiliser doses were caried out on maize in 1986 and the nematodes populations were checking in 1987, 1988 and 1989 year. The results showed reduction 52-60% of plant parasitic nematodes in the first and second year after potassium application. Among the plant parasitic nematodes predominant was Pratylenchus thornei Sher and Allan, 1953.
