ResumoIt is taken for granted that the transformation of a literary work into a movie is a matter of intertextuality. According to theories that discuss it, every discourse is intertwined with other speeches, and in this sense, adaptation can be understood as a large network of interwoven voices. The aim of this research is analyzing the transposition of the novel Corda Bamba, by Lygia Bojunga, into the movie Corda bamba – historia de uma menina equilibrista, by Eduardo Goldenstein (2012). The results show that the film works as a hypertext with links, stimulating the reader to wander around a rhizomatic map, and to give meaning to the text, according to his own perception
