Resumo: O artigo comeca apresentando a dinâmica do Sinodo, a partir do texto “Lineamenta”, enviado as Igrejas particulares. Abstract: The article begins by introducing the dynamics of the Synod in the light of the text “Lineamenta” which had previously been sent to all of the Catholic churches. The Church in Brazil forwarded it the Secretariat of the Synod along with the “General guidelines concerning the activity of Evangelization issued by the CNBB 2011-2015”. The proposals approved by the Synod, held in October of 2012, were handed over to the Pope, Benedict XVI. As it was made clear by the Pope John Paul II, the “new Evangelization” is not a “new Gospel” which would have its origin in us but not in Christ. Therefore, the transmission of faith consists of the same faith which is centered in the New Evangelization. Additionally, the author makes various allusions to the apostolic letter Porta Fidei of Benedict XVI, in the convocation to the “Year of Faith”. As regards the echoes of the Synod mention is made of the message of the Fathers of the Synod delivered to the people of God, together with the commentaries pertaining to the event as well as the foundation of the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization together with the “proposals”, handed over to the Pope. As regards the “echoes resounding in the” Synod the author mentions the general impact which the Document of Aparecida had all around specially its spirit pervading the content. Truly, the “culture of a mutual meeting” which was emphasized by the Pope Francis gives rise to discipleship and missionary activity which do not admit the nature of a Church “as a reference to her”. The author concludes with an allusion to a “major echo” of the New Evangelization in terms of its own manner of being and acting of the bishop of Rome.
