Propomos levantar e problematizar algumas questões acerca da imagem da adolescência a partir de uma visita a três filmes do cineasta estadunidense Larry Clark: Kids (1995); Ken Park (2002) e O Cheiro da Gente (Smell of us, 2015). Tentamos mostrar que a perversão torna-se, nas narrativas clarkeanas, uma manobra estilística, possível de capturar, na própria forma fílmica, algo que constrange o leitor e que se revela nos modos de endereçamento/enquadramento do olhar lançado sobre esses adolescentes, na maneira de inscrever a matéria elástica e inacabada de seus corpos no espaço do filme. Larry Clark.The Lost Adolescence: body and perversion in Larry Clark’s cinemaAbstractWe propose to raise and problematize some questions about the image of adolescence from a visit of three films by the American filmmaker Larry Clark: Kids (1995); Ken Park (2002) and The Smell of Us (2015). We try to show that perversion becomes, in the clarkean narratives, a stylistic maneuver, possible to de captured in the film form itself, something that constrains the reader and that reveals itself in the ways of addressing / framing the gaze on these adolescents, in the ways of inscribing the elastic and unfinished matter of their bodies in the space of the film.Key words: Cinema.
