Resumo

Among the various subcultures that developed in England after World War II, skinheads took quite an unusual path : while they were originally associated with reggae music in the 1960’s, they ended up listening to hate rock, and following a dangerous neo-Nazi ideology and ethos. How did this working-class counterculture, which was originally influenced by Jamaican immigrant culture, evolve into an anti-Communist, xenophobic and racist counter-counterculture ?
