ResumoThe current document analyzed the statistical data for the year 2015 to make a comparative analysis in the case of China and Pakistan. The results conclude the migration and the refugee related challenge in Pakistan is the most critical factor to be observed and demands high level of attention. On the other side, the strengthening infrastructure in china is the massive pull factor to increase urbanization and economic growth. Moreover, the future lessons learnt from the China’s progressive growth can improve the pace of urbanization in the neighboring region like Pakistan. However, the china’s economic growth is dominating by the industrialization trend as china can be labeled as World’s factory. However, Pakistan’s agricultural dependency on the economic growth makes both economic developmental approaches distinct. It can be also concluded that the urbanization as a phenomenon requires multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary view to improve and understand urbanization trends.
