espanolDescripcion y analisis de las cuatro ediciones del San Antonio de Padua de Mateo Aleman que salieron a luz en el primer cuarto del siglo XVII (A: Sevilla, 1604; B: Sevilla, 1605; C: Valencia, 1607; D: Tortosa, 1623). Se llega asi a la conclusion de que es la segunda edicion hispalense (en casa de Juan de Leon, 1605) que se debe escoger como texto-base, conclusion fundamentada en la reconstruccion de la probable cronologia de la historia editorial de la hagiografia, con la reinterpretacion de la existencia de un enigmatico ejemplar (A’) intermedio entre las ediciones A y B. EnglishDescription and analysis of the four editions of San Antonio de Padua by Mateo Aleman published in the first quarter of the 16th century (A: Sevilla, 1604; B: Sevilla, 1605;C: Valencia, 1607; D: Tortosa, 1623). We reach the conclusion that the second Sevillian edition (en casa de Juan de Leon, 1605) must be chosen as the base text. This conclusion was founded on the reconstruction of the probable chronology of the editorial history of this hagiography, including the reinterpretation of the existence of an enigmatic copy (A’) between the editions A and B.
