ResumoTiO2 is one of the most common and high usages known materials and solar cells generation technology, diodes, types of optical and gas sensors, optoelectronic devices, etc. TiO2 is widely used as photocatalyst due to interest optical and electrical properties. Carbon nanotubes have attracted many attentions due to many advantages and applications. In this work, TiO2 nanoparticles are synthesized by a sol-gel method, then for increasing of CNTs optical properties, CNTs are decorated by TiO2 nanoparticles. Photocatalytic, photoluminescence and UV–vis tests are used for investigation of TiO2/MWCNT nanocomposites optical properties. The composite structure is confirmed by using XRD and FTIR. The SEM and EDX techniques are used for synthesized nanocomposite morphology investigation. The results exhibit CNTs optical properties increase by decorating them by TiO2 nanoparticles.
