Resumo

There is a consensus among the scholars of education about the complexity of working with gender issues in schools and open public environments.Therefore, one of the workshops carried out through Project Rondon -Operation Forte dos Reis Magos, to teachers, students and locals of Acari (RN), in 2016, was "Gender Diversity and Sex Education".It aimed to raise awareness, discuss and give information about this subject.To achieve this, it was used historical sources, media, and social networks.Thus, this article aims to describe the results of the workshop "Gender Diversity and Sex Education" carried out as part of Project Rondon in a small city of Rio Grande do Norte.The methodology involved bibliographical research,
