Resumo

Having a glance to the history of educational reforms in Colombia, these have been regarded as essential components that have allowed to interpret the education system of this country; so that by disregarding the fact about the systematic development as well its changes in education it would be similar to overlook essential components of education and educational practices that have been classified. The present work is divided into three main sections: The first section is related to the independence of Colombia from 1819 to 1902, the second one started in 1903 and has forwarded the twentieth century until 1990, besides in the third section the main starting point was the Constitution of 1999 to current times. This research work has used a type documentary methodology based on a review of secondary sources. By illustrating the educational reforms in the mentioned periods of the history of Colombia as significant features of the above-mentioned subject. With respect to examine the educational reforms it should be carry out through changes from legal regulations so that is needed to im-prove these views due to it cannot be considered as revolutionary meanwhile these are not only addressed to reorganize educational practices but also enhance them through meaningful strategies and methodologies. Turning to the main features of this historical trajectory it is strongly recommend to carry out further categorical researches in order to develop as well significant views as comparative studies on advances and retreats of the educational re-forms in Colombia, by identifying the importance of the history of education and the features that have improved considerations and changes in times of crisis ,subsequently committed researches are required in order to discover the significant role of education in Colombia. This work presents the results of an extensive research ,therefore, further research in this area should prioritize the educational stages in Colombia in order to illustrate programs of development proposed by the rulers of the mentioned ages as well the guidelines issued by the National Bureau of Education more-over, a sequential study related to the structure of the educational system in Colombia to establish strategies aimed to demonstrated that political parties and public education sector are related in different levels.
