O significado do Reino de Deus à luz de uma teoria evolutiva: Parte II: De Jesus até o Presente

Resumo: O Reino de Deus e uma utopia de que o homem necessita para plasmar a historia. A utopia dos primeiros Cristaos desapareceu quando Constantino ligou a religiao ao Estado. Posteriormente, no fim do seculo XIII, o Papa Bonifacio VIII se arrogou um poder superior, imaginando construir o Reino pelo “poder”e nao pelo “amor”. Depois, ainda, o cristianismo se afastou da cultura cientifica com Galileu. No cristianismo hispano-americano, porem, devemos salientar a luta dos religiosos dominicanos e a escola de Salamanca (Montesinos, Las Casas, Vitoria), que conseguiram a Lei das Indias (1542), verdadeira origem da declaracao universal de direitos humanos (ONU, 1948). A construcao do Reino deve ser compreendida com uma visao teleologica e nao deontologica: assim devemos caminhar com nossa memoria historica, seguindo Jesus, para promover um mundo mais humano, mais fraterno, orientado para a salvacao definitiva por Deus. Abstract: The kingdom of God is a utopia that the man needs to shape the history. There was a utopia of the first Christian that desappeared when Constantine put together the religion with the state. Later, at the end of 13th century, Pope Boniface VIII has arrogated a higher power , imagining to built the Kingdom by “power” rather than “love”. As an important result, Christianity stood aside of the scientific culture with Galileo. In the Spanish-american Christianity, however, we must emphasise the work of religious dominicans and the school of Salamanca (Montesinos, Las Casas, Vitoria), who managed the law of Indias (1542) real origin of the universal declaration of human rights (UN 1948). The construction of the kingdom must be understood with a teleological not deontological vision, so we must walk with our historic memory, following Jesus, to promove a world more human, more fraternal, guided to the definitive salvation by God.
