ResumoThe great Polish composer and pianist Frederic Chopin was born in 1810 in Żelazowa Wola near Warsaw and died in Paris at the tragically young age of 39 years. Being always frail, Frederic Chopin's health started to decline dramatically as early as 1838. Over the next years, he became progressively more debilitated and less active as a composer, performer, and teacher.
