Resumofrom reoperation at 10 years was similar between two groups (66.7±27.2% vs. 50±35%, p=0.610)When compared to general population (sex and age-matched) patients of both groups as a significant lower long-term survival. Conclusion: TVS appears to confer satisfactory short and long-term results despite its surgical complexity and higher risk. The choice of the mitral procedure did not significantly affected survival and major adverse events at 10 years after surgery in our population.
