O objetivo deste trabalho e analisar representacoes discursivas que se recombinam acerca da figura feminina da apresentadora de televisao Xuxa Meneghel, durante a conducao do programa noturno Dancing Brasil , apresentado pela Record TV. A teoria mobilizada e a Analise Critica do Discurso (ACD), tendo em vista a enfase dada ao perfil empoderado do sujeito. A analise dos dados e de carater qualitativo e do tipo documental, pois serao analisadas imagens veiculadas a partir da apresentacao do programa ora referido. A analise dos dados revela a necessidade da midia televisiva em cultuar o perfil luxuoso da apresentadora, o que converge com seu historico de ostentacao com o titulo de Rainha. Palavras-chave: Xuxa. ABSTRACT The objective of this work is to analyze discursive representations that recombine about the female figure of television presenter Xuxa Meneghel during the conduction of the night program Dancing Brasil presented by Record TV. The mobilized theory is the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), considering the emphasis given to the empowered profile of the subject. The analysis of the data is qualitative and of the documentary type, since it will be analyzed images transmitted from the presentation of the program referred to herein. The analysis of the data reveals the need of the television media to worship the luxurious profile of the presenter, which converges with its history of ostentation with the title of Queen.
