espanolEl presente trabajo sintetiza la trayectoria que ha seguido la investigacion sobre la cultura tartesica en Extremadura, y mas en concreto en el valle del Guadiana, donde se concentran los yacimientos mas importantes y donde se puede ensayar un patron de asentamiento coherente entre mediados del siglo VI y principios del IV a.n.e. Tambien presentamos los significativos avances que se han producido en los ultimos anos gracias a las excavaciones realizadas en el cerro del Tamborrio y en los tumulos de Cerro Borreguero y Casas del Turunuelo, que han enriquecido sensiblemente nuestro conocimiento sobre la cultura tartesica EnglishThe present work summarizes the trajectory followed by research on the Tartesic culture in Extremadura, and more specifically in the Guadiana Valley. The most important settlements are concentrated in the central Guadiana Valley to designing a new occupation model between the middle of the sixth century and the beginning of the fourth century BC. Besides, this paper presents the new developments of tartesic archeology with the excavations of Tamborrio, Cerro Borreguero and ‘Casas del Turunuelo’, which have enriched our knowledge about tartesic culture.
