ResumoThe articl suggests a progressive technology cladding by flexible (wire) tools to improve the wear resistance of the guiedways of the metal cutting equipment. Thermophysical modeling factor is considered when applying the coatings. The task of determining the surface temperature of the workpiece in the area of contact with the wire tool is solved, taking into account the mutual influence of local heat of contact pads compressed-bent pile in its sliding. The results of the experimental research aiming at identifying the temperature using a thermocouple, analog-to-digital converter, and computer are presented. The comparative analysis of simulation results and experimental results was carried out. The comparison of theoretical and experimental data shows the maximum range of temperatures between 5 % and 26 %, and the average range of five measurements values is from 3 % to 16 %. The researched mathematical model is used to develop the cladding technological operations performed with a flexible tool in order to improve the wear resistance of cutting and press-forging equipment guideways at PLC "AvtoVAZ".
