We interviewed Prof. Ramakrishnan at the Palacio de la Magdalena (Santander) during his participation in the IV summer school in Integrative Molecular and Cellular Biology (UIMP). During the opening of this School Prof. Ramakrishnan was awarded with the Medal of Honor of the UIMP.
