ResumoespanolAnalisis de las penas, aguas y otros elementos naturales asociados a ritos y mitos sobrenaturales en el territorio de Garrovillas, Caceres. Extremadura es una de las areas de Europa Occidental que ha conservado mejor las tradiciones populares gracias a un interesante proceso de “larga duracion”. Esas tradiciones documentan la religion, la cosmovision, la mentalidad, el “paisaje sacro” y las creaciones literarias de la Hispania Celtica. Su estudio es cada vez mas urgente, dado el muy serio peligro de desaparicion en estos ultimos anos. Por ello, estos monumentos deben ser inventariados y protegidos como parte esencial de nuestro Patrimonio Cultural. EnglishAnalysis of rocks, waters and other natural elements associated with rituals and supernatural myths in the territory of Garrovillas, Caceres. Extremadura is one of the areas of Western Europe that has best preserved popular traditions, thanks to an interesting process of “long-term”. These traditions document the religion, cosmology, mentality, “sacred landscape”and literary creations of the Hispania Celtica. Their study is increasingly urgent, given the very serious danger of disappearing in recent years. Therefore, these monuments must be inventoried and protected as an essential part of our cultural heritage
