Este artigo pretende abordar algumas reflexoes sobre a relacao entre antropologos, museus, objetos etnograficos e arte, partindo da apresentacao de observacoes iniciais sobre a exposicao Planete Metisse: to mix or not to mix. A exposicao temporaria, realizada pelo Museu do Quai Branly, em Paris, serve de fio condutor para a apresentacao do projeto do museu e dos aspectos materiais e esteticos envolvidos na re-significacao de objetos de diferentes culturas por parte dos diversos atores operantes em sua concepcao. Planete Metisse: An anthropological exhibition at Quai Branly Museum Abstract This article intends to approach some reflections about the relationship between anthropologists, museums, ethnographic objects and art starting from the introduction of initial comments on the exhibition Planete Metisse: to mix or not to mix. The temporary exhibition carried out by the Quai Branly Museum in Paris, serves as a guiding principal to the presentation of the museum project and the materials and aesthetics aspects involved in re-signification of objects of different cultures by the different actors that operate in its conception.
