Resumo: O tema da criação na Bíblia é apresentado em sete capítulos doponto da vista teológico com as implicações da dimensão ecológica que afetaa sobrevivência dos seres criados. A ênfase dos autores bíblicos é no relato dodevir das criaturas e não pópriamente no ser, de sorte que a obra da criaçãonão terminou no início da história, mas tem sua continuidade em cada geraçãoque concretiza sua missão na vida. O estilo de vida varia de cultura a culturaem confronto com os biomas do meio ambiente. Mas a meta da vida humanatranscende o âmbito individual porque tem sua origem na comunidade que no-laensina e nos possibilita alcançá-la de geração em geração.Abstract: The article focuses on the work of creation at the beginning of the worldas it is presented in seven chapters and following the topics as they appear inthe Bible. The ecologial dimension is implied in the concern for the survival ofcreated beings. The emphasis of the biblical authors is on the presentation ofthe stages of human development and not properly on its being, since the workof creation was not finalized at the beginning of history, but has its continuity ineach generation which concretizes its mission in life. The style of life varies fromculture to culture in the face of the demands of the surrounding environment. Butthe aim of human live transcends the ambit of individual objectives because itsorigins are rooted in the community which transmits its teaching and is instrumentalin the transmission thereof to all generations.
