Resumohaving Its leaf-bladea regularly attenuate-acute at the apex and conspicuously sharp-serrate with antrorae teeth on the margins, and the inflorescences very sparse at the tips of the branches.The type of the variety was collected by Roy F. Steinbach ( no. 191) in dry rocky soil at the foot of San Pedro hill, at an alUtude of 2575 meters, Cercado, Cochabamba, Bolivia, on May 12, 1966, and is deposited in the herbarium of the Naturhistoriska SERENOA REPENS f .GLAUCA Moldenke, f .nov.Haec fonna a forma typica speciei laminis foliorum distincte glaucis recedit.This fom differs from the typical form of the species in having its leaf-blades distinctly and more or less pennanently glaucous .The type of the fona iias collected by myself (no.2lil61 ) in dry sandy ifoodland of pines at Lantana, Palm Beach County, Florida, on December 30, 1966, and is deposited in the herbarium of Aarhus Universitet at Aarhvis, Denmark.This fom is found chiefly along the eastern coast of Florida and in the scrub association, usually in purestand colonies, often adjacent to the normal fom, which is also in separate distinct colonies.
