ResumoThe conquest of continental tournaments is one of the main objectives of the great clubs that seek technical recognition and economic gain. With the use of software capable of generating information and statistics on a large scale, technical committees are always looking for new knowledge capable of bringing advantages to their athletes, increasing their level of competitiveness against their opponents. In this context, managing such content becomes critical to cast planning, game strategy creation, knowledge of opponents, and everything that involves competition. Thus, the objective of the present study is to investigate the game factors that directly implicate the results of the home games played in the 2017 Copa Libertadores of America. For this, quantitative analyzes were made based on the scouts of the matches of the phases of octaves, quartas, semi and finals of the tournament, presented through the Spearman correlation coefficient. It was concluded that in general, for the clubs that played at home, the scouts who correlated most strongly with the goals were the kicks on the goal and those outside the area; the accuracy of the passes and the corners. For those who played at home and won, the goals with the total kicks, the goals and the inside of the area, and the accuracy of the passes with which they were completed in the opponent's field.
