Using concepts of Bakhtin, we analyzed aspects of verbal and filmic enunciation of the miniseries Capitu with the objective to address the relationship between ethics and aesthetics (Bakhtin). Elements both intra and extratextual (author/work and discursive strategies of the narrator of the miniseries) are analyzed emphasizing issues related to chronotope and carnivalization.
