ResumoAt the 2018 Global Specialty Lens Symposium in Las Vegas (USA), Patrick Caroline and the team at Pacific University (USA) together with Donald Ezekiel (Perth, Australia) exhibited their 'Museum of Contact Lens History'. The exhibit brought together glass eyes manufactured by Fredrick Müller in Wiesbaden Germany (the maker of the very first glass contact lens in 1887) and over 1200 finished glass scleral lenses as well as the only remaining glass scleral lens manufacturing apparatus in the world, based on the method designed by Joseph Dallos.
