Resumo

This article reports on the use of the anime Assassination Classroom as a means to construct a political culture in a group of students from Liceo Samuel Saenz Flores, between 2015 and 2016. Based on this, it was attempted to promote critical thinking and to bring together the reality of these youth and the political content of this work. At the theoretical level, the domains of a pluralistic and chrono-holistic political culture were used. In addition, various schools of critical theory of education were used. Methodologically, this research project highlights the use of content analysis and the "anime forum". The main findings allowed to link non-traditional teaching (the anime and its discussion) with the educational reality of the collaborators of this project. In this regard, it allowed to collect and analyse data according to the perceptions of their environment and their role in these dynamics. It also demonstrates the similar problems of the educational systems of Costa Rica and Japan.
