Resumo: A tragedia evidencia imitativamente a condicao humana. Estamos, a todo momento, sujeitos a uma reviravolta interpretativa de nossas acoes que pode nos ser favoravel ou desfavoravel em termos de bem estar. Se nao podemos jamais ter controle sobre isso, pelo menos estarmos preparados para essa condicao vulneravel ja faz uma grande diferenca. E nesse sentido que a tragedia e formadora do cidadao. Tudo esta sujeito a mudanca. Aprender a viver atraves da tragedia seria, portanto, aprender a estar pronto para descobrir mais uma vez o caminho que leva ate onde ja se esta. Palavras-chave: tragedia grega. catarse. Poetica. Abstract: The tragedy resembles the human condition. All the time it's possible to happen a reversal regarding the interpretation of our actions. It can be favourable and unfavourable in terms of wellbeing. If we never can have control on it, at least to be prepared for this vulnerable condition makes a big difference. In this sense the tragedy educates the citizens. The catarsis as a constitutive element of Greek tragedy can teach us how to live while it promotes the light experience of comming to the way on which we already are.
