Socioeconomic development has required increasingly interventions in areas with archaeological potential.Watersheds are important areas for the study of Archaeology and are being impacted by environmental and human factors.In this context, this study aims to identify the archaeological heritage of the river basin Una, located in the Brazilian states of Pernambuco and Alagoas, trying to analyze how the records are available.Data collection was conducted from consultation to secondary sources of IPHAN (institution responsible for the Brazilian cultural heritage), Laboratório de Arqueologia da UFPE and electronic publications available in scientific research bases.The study resulted in the identification of 149 archaeological sites and events in the region, predominantly traces the historical period, resulting from academic studies and those focused on environmental assessment of projects under the Preventive Archaeology.Data analysis revealed gaps in the way sites and events are being documented and made available.
