An environmental axis consists of elements, and the way they behave reflects the conditions in which they work.Romania, for example, is a country located at the crossroads of the most important environmental axes of the continent, namely the West-East axis: Western Europe -the ex-Soviet space; the North-West -South-East axis: Central Europe -Asia Minor and the Middle East; the axis of the seas: the Caspian Sea -the Black Sea -the Mediterranean; the axis of rivers and canals: Rhine -Main -Danube.Other examples of environmental axes are those at local and regional level, respectively the mountainous axes: the axis of Prahova Valley, the axis of Trotuşului valley, the axis of the Black Sea coast, the axis of Siret valley, the axis of Mureş between Deva and Lipova, the axis of Silvania, Jibou-Zalău-Şimleu Silvaniei-Marghita.This study wants to present the environmental axes as entities capable of explaining a part of the management and economic development in the local and regional levels.Environmental axes, interpreted as a territorial axes, become a convergent space, defining for the human communities organized along certain material energies, charged both informationally and economically.This study focuses on the spatial structure of the Environmental axes.The aim of my research is to analyse these shapes of the axes type.The spatial diffusion process of the development is facilitated by the environmental axes, but it manifests mainly along the major environmental axes.
