ResumoThe streets of Paris in the 1930’s are walked in the company of Becassine, in a figurative realism adapted for an audience of girls from the catholic bourgeoisie in the period between the two World Wars. However, the “make pretty” and the “make laugh” are no obstacles to the ethnographic observation of the urban country and of the social relationships emerging.
