ResumoResumo Dentro do Cânone Ocidental, a Divina Commedia esta sempre representada como maior referencial de nossa Literatura Crista. Todavia, com o passar dos anos e o aprimoramento dos estudos filologicos e de critica literaria, tem-se percebido que na composicao da obra maior de Dante Alighieri se destaca uma forte presenca da Cultura Islâmica. E no estudo dessa marca islâmica, que tem garantido uma das maiores dissensoes entre os pesquisadores da obra do poeta florentino, que nos deteremos aqui. Palavras-chave: Divina Commedia; Cultura Islâmica; Asin Palacios. Abstract Within the Western Canon the Divine Comedy has always been presented as the greatest benchmark of Christian Literature. However, the development of philological studies and the improvement of Dantean scholarship throughout time have led critics to point out the strong presence of the Islamic Culture in Dante Alighieri's masterpiece. It is precisely this presence, itself a cause of great disagreement among scholars, that will be the object of the present essay. Keywords: Divine Comedy. Islamic Culture, Asin Palacios.
