ResumoFor the study of emerging standards in semantic networks, the metrics belonging to social and complex networks can be used.This paper aims to analyze a semantic network formed by the keywords, belonging to the dissertations and theses presented and defended in Teaching Physics in Brazil, between the years of 1972 to 2006.We describe the method used in the construction of the network, in which the received initial treatment and later, with the use of software.We analyze network properties in the local and global scopes.The results indicated that the network is Scale Free and Small-World.In addition, with the proposed method, we found that most of the themes highlighted in the network are related to the formation of the physics teacher, with research focused mostly on basic education.
