Resumo

This article aims to show the first results of the research into the shell mound of Ilha da Boa Vista I - Cabo Frio, RJ. This site was the dwelling of fishmen, gatheres and hunters 3.480 years BP. It deals specifically with spatial organization of habitation structures and distribution of artefacts.
