ResumoThe paper analyzes differences between Graham Harman’s object-oriented ontology (OOO) and Jane Bennett’s new materialism as two possible non-anthropocentric ontologies. It also shows how their dissimilarity replicates the differences between Kazimierz Twardowski’s ontology whose OOO recognizes as its forerunner, and reism developed by his student Tadeusz Kotarbinski, who can be regarded as a predecessor of new materialism.
