ResumoToday the Kaingang represent the largest indigenous population in Southern Brazil, totaling approximately thirty-seven thousand individuals.This indigenous group is distributed among the four Brazilian states: Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná and São Paulo.The three indigenous lands in analysis are located in the Vale do Taquari (central-eastern region of Rio Grande do Sul), are: Jamã Tÿ Tãnh, Estrela, Foxá, Lajeado, and Pó Mág, in Tabaí.The objective of this study is to reflect the interculturality, education and transmission of the traditional knowledge of the Kaingang people, in the context of the right of indigenous peoples to maintain their language, culture and tradition.This is an empirical study with a qualitative and exploratory approach, whose methodological procedures consist of a bibliographical review, a research conducted in partnership
