Background and Aims: Monitoring the circulation of free flaps post-operatively in head and neck reconstruction surgery promotes timely salvage if circulation compromise is detected early. This study aims to evaluate whether the use of a doppler as an adjunct to clinical post-operative monitoring increases the survival rate of free tissue transfers.
