Resumo

The article focuses on the study of the last image of the Romanian witches in our region, the Ukrainian border line of the river Tisza, which was inhabited by Romanians. Material paper is based on field research conducted in Romanian villages Transcarpathian and a number of discussions held with support of esoteric knowledge in his own home.Witch is an elderly woman who has real therapeutic skills. It is very well known in the area and it is often invited when there is a need for treatment. This woman combines some medical knowledge gained from the local doctor (with whom she worked from a young age) with specific bioenergetic capacity she may developed as a result of constant practice.This recreates the magical background, which uses a typical scenario healing ritual: singing, massage ritual spells specific tools - all done in compliance with the traditional magic.In terms of ethnographic research, it should be noted that the Romanian witches magical activity of Ukraine belongs to all Romanian profile magical village.
