A personal narrative is presented which explores the author's friendship with the artists Robert Motherwell and Helen Frankenthaler as well as a photograph that was taken with him and Motherwell in 1965 during Motherwell's art exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.
