ResumoResearch Article| September 01 2007 Transgender Nation: Crossing Borders and Queering Space in Transamerica Peter Caster; Peter Caster University of South Carolina–Upstate pcaster@uscupstate.edu Peter Caster is a professor of film and literature at the University of South Carolina Upstate. He earned his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin and his MA from Oregon State University. His book Prisons, Race, and Masculinity in Twentieth-Century U.S. Literature and Film will be published spring 2008 with Ohio State University Press, and he has published several articles on U.S. literature and culture.
