Ancient Mediterranean Archaeology and History

The results obtained in the excavation of the IVth century wall found in the southern part of the greek city of Emporion, in the year 1985, are presented. The stratigraphie sequence proves that the above mentioned wall must be placed around the 375 B.C., more or less at the time of the shipwreck « El Sec » in the Palma de Mallorca bay.
